Obtaining NSPECon23 PDH Credits

PDH Policy & Deadlines

The objective of this policy is to provide guidelines for participants attending the NSPECon23 meeting from August 3 – 5, 2023, to claim their Professional Development Hours (PDH) and obtain certificates. The goal of this policy is to ensure a streamlined and efficient process for claiming credits and printing certificates. 

          August 9, 2023: Claim & submit PDH credits for in-person sessions via the app or online here.

          October 31, 2023: Download and print certificates for claimed in-person sessions.

On-site Sign-in Sheets

There will be a sign-in sheet for each concurrent session. Please be sure to sign-in for all the concurrent sessions you attend and for which you intend to claim PDH credit.  *NOTE: If you are claiming PDH credit in New York, please note they REQUIRE you to sign in to receive credit.

PDH Claimer: Accessing via NSPE's Website

The NSPECon23 PDH Claimer Website can be accessed using NSPE login credentials.  Instructions are posted on the website after attendees are logged into the site. 

Click the link to Print Summary. This is a summary of all sessions you attended, and the total amount of PDHs earned.  

Print Individual Certificate(s):  

Print a certificate for each individual session. See the “print” link next to each session in your summary details.*

*If a session has been NY approved, the individual certificate for that session will include the PIE logo and the course approval number. (Please also be sure to see the sign-in sheet policy above.)

PDH Claimer: Accessing via the Conference Meeting App

Claiming PDH credit is easy using the PDH Claimer option in the NSPECon23 App. From the app, click on the PDH Claimer icon to get started. Follow these steps to claim your PDHs: 

  1. Visit the PDH Claimer in your NSPECon23 app.
  2. Click on “Thursday” and/or “Friday” to see all of the sessions offered on each day, as well as the PDH amount for each session.
  3. Place a checkmark next to each session you attended (only one session per time slot.)
  4. Click the checkbox next to “I attest I attended the sessions listed above” located at the bottom right of the screen.
  5. Click the “REPORT PDHS” button at the bottom left of your screen.
  6. Print/download a Summary of Credits earned or individual certificates to each session earned (must connect via wifi to a network printer).          

Earning PDHs for Post-conference Recordings.

Select concurrent sessions from the meeting are recorded and scheduled to be released on September 18, 2023 and available to attendees through February 29, 2024.

NSPECon23 attendees receive complimentary access to the recorded sessions as part of the registration package corresponding with the days of conference registration.  Full conference registrants can access all available recordings. Single-day registrants have access to the available recordings corresponding to the day registered.

To receive PDH credit for these recorded sessions, after watching the recording attendees can take a quiz. Once you passing with a score of 70% or higher, attendees can download and print a certificate for their records.

Registrants will receive notification once the recordings are available and instructions for accessing them.
